MAWEI

Mid-Atlantic Wind Energy Institute

The Mid-Atlantic Wind Energy Institute, or MAWEI (ma WEE), is a regional collaborative that provides resources and knowledge for promoting wind energy in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

Wind energy causes no air pollution, no water pollution and produces no hazardous waste.

MAWEI was funded by a two-year grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. The grant term has ended and currently MAWEI does not have funds to continue offering webinars and stakeholder meetings. However, we will continue to host this website as a valuable resource tool for reference materials on wind energy as well as recordings and presentations of our past webinars and events.
